What does the KATMANDU PASS include?
The Katmandu Pass includes a right to ride each attraction once on the same day. Transportation is also included from selected locations.
What does the 1-USE PASS include?
The 1-USE Pass is a "Freedom-to-play" pass (only available at puntacana.katmanduparks.com and ticket offices) that includes a right to enjoy each attraction once up until December 30 of the current year. Transportation is not included.
What does the VIP PASS include?
The VIP Pass is a "Freedom-to-play" pass (only available at puntacana.katmanduparks.com and ticket offices) that includes a right to enjoy each attraction once up until December 30 of the current year. Transportation is not included.
Additional benefits of the VIP PASS:
- Full 36-hole Expedition Golf™ experience.
- An individual locker. (Included in the first visit)
- VIP parking. (Included in the first visit)
- Credits loaded on your wristband that you can use in our themed stores, Candrama Food Square, and Quadagon Bar. (If you do not spend all the credits, you can use them for any other visits up to December 30 of the current year).
What happens if I want to come back to the park for a second day?
You can come back to the park as many times as you wish! If you want to get special benefits, you can buy your second day pass during your first visit at our box office and get 50% OFF. The 2nd Day Pass is valid until December 30 of the current year. Transportation is not included.
Do I have to buy a pass for a child under 4 years of age?
Children under 4 enjoy free admission. Both infants and children must be always accompanied by an adult. Extra fee and height restrictions apply at some attractions. See requirements of each attraction.
Do I need to book a specific date?
Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana has a capacity limit. To make sure you enjoy the best experience, we recommend you buy your ticket in advance on a selected date.
Do I have to pay to visit the theme park?
Admission to the park is free! You can come and walk around, enjoy the atmosphere and the area. If you want to ride the attractions, you must select one of our Passes (Tickets). That’s why we recommend you buying your pass before visiting us, so you can guarantee access to the attractions and be able to enjoy this great adventure.
Can I buy my Pass at the ticket office (Box office)?
Yes, you can buy a 1-Use Pass and VIP Pass at the ticket office subject to pass availability. The park has a capacity limit, so we recommend you buy your pass before the day of your visit through our website.
Is transportation to the park included?
Transportation from selected areas is ONLY included if you buy the Katmandu Pass. Please note that children under 4 have to sit on their parent's lap. The pick-up points will be indicated during your booking process.
Is there a car parking area?
Yes, there are two types of parking areas, both with private security and video surveillance. A general parking area, free of charge, 500 metres away from the main entrance (see map) with free shuttle transfer service. And another paid parking area in which the first hour is free and then there is an additional cost per hour. When you buy a VIP PASS, the paid parking is included in your first visit.
What should I do if I don’t get a confirmation email after making my booking on the website?
If you don’t receive a confirmation email within 5 hours after buying your pass online, please check your spam folder and confirm that the payment has been made. Where can I find the opening hours for the park?
You can see our opening hours on our website using the following link https://puntacana.katmanduparks.com/directions-to-katmandu-park/ . The opening hours of each attraction may be subject to change.
Are there any lockers in the park?
Yes, the lockers are located near the box office and they have an extra cost. One of the additional benefits for VIP Pass holders is complimentary locker use on their first visit.
Can you smoke in the park?
You can only smoke in designated areas.
Are there roller coasters in the park?
Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana is the first theme park in the Caribbean and the Dominican Republic where you can enjoy immersive and interactive experiences. It includes world-class attractions and rides within the Hidden Realms®,based on The Legend of Katmandu. Our immersive attractions use the highest technology, present in themed parks in the United States, Europe and Asia, using 4D in order to involve the 5 senses of the participants.
Our interactive attractions are unique in the area, with several obstacle challenges and mini golf courses, where the skills and abilities of the participants are crucial to complete them.
Can you take video or photos of the attractions?
Cameras are NOT allowed inside the attractions.
Is Katmandu Park | Punta Cana a park for kids?
Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana has spaces for visitors of all ages. Filled with exciting rides, vibrant music and extraordinary shows. A destination prepared for entertainment, with the most original products, fantastic dining and unique experiences.
Are there height and age limits for the rides?
Yes, for security reasons some of our attractions have special height requirement of 1.10 or 1.20 meters. When you are at Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana, we recommend you to read all the safety instructions to find out which ones best suit you and your family.
Can pregnant women enjoy the attractions?
Women who know or suspect they are pregnant are recommended to read the safety instructions in the park. They can then avoid those attractions that may be a risk, considering that in the future they can come back an enjoy Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana all over again.
Do I need to bring a swimsuit to the theme park?
No, Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana does not have any water attractions, only immersive and interactive experiences that will turn your world upside down.
Can I bring food and drinks to the park?
To ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members, food and drinks cannot be brought from outside into the park. We invite you to enjoy our dining experiences at Candrama Food Square and throughout the park.
What items are not allowed in Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana?
For the safety of our visitors, any type of firearm, aerosols, devices intended to stun or immobilize, sharp objects, substances considered dangerous, explosive or incendiary are not allowed in the park.
Can you bring pets to the park?
We love pets, but due hygiene and safety reasons their access is restricted. Only service dogs are allowed.
What happens if I lose something in the park?
Visit our lost & found department or write an email to [email protected] with all your lost item characteristics. Even though we will do our best to find it, we are not responsible for any lost or forgotten property in the park.
What payment methods are accepted in the park?
We accept local and international credit cards and cash payments in Dominican pesos or US dollars. We also offer you the chance to pre-load a certain amount paid by credit card or cash to the wristband that provides access to the attractions so you can enjoy drinks, food and much more.
How long does it take to explore Katmandu Park | Punta Cana?
Between 5 and 7 hours allows you to experience all the amazing attractions, dining options and shops at Katmandu® Park | Punta Cana depending on the number of visitors in the park.
Does the park have free Wi-Fi?

What is the dress code or best footwear for visiting the park?
Our park offers a casual environment that includes footwear and clothes at all times. For this reason, we suggest comfortable clothing according to the weather, and the use of socks in the attractions that are required. Please keep in mind the spirit of the park is family-friendly, so we appreciate the use of your criteria and common sense when visiting us.
Restrictions and requirements for each attraction:
- Soft Play - Maiya and Kumar's Secret Cave:
- Bear in mind that Soft Play is only for kids, and that they must always be accompanied by their parents or guardians. Soft Play has special areas for:
- Babies – 6mo-2yrs
- Toddlers – 3-4yrs
- Juniors – 5-8yrs
- Babies and toddlers must be accompanied by their parents at all times in the play area.
- Juniors can visit alone after they have been registered. Parents cannot access the games area.
- Socks are required at this attraction, but footwear is not. No height restrictions.
- Bear in mind that Soft Play is only for kids, and that they must always be accompanied by their parents or guardians. Soft Play has special areas for:
- Quadagon:
- Quagadon™ is available to visitors from 12 years of age.
- Height restriction: over 48” / 120 cm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Socks are required at this attraction, but footwear is not.
- EtherQuest:
- Height restriction: over 36” / 92 cm. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Legend of Desirata:
- Height restriction: over 42” / 110 cm. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Maximum weight: 160 Kg / 350lbs
- Voyage of the Fathom Wonderer:
- Height restriction: over 42” / 110 cm. For safety reasons, to enjoy this attraction you must be over 7 years old and accompanied by an adult.
- Maximum weight: 135 Kg / 300 lbs
- Carousel:
- Height restriction: over 42” / 110 cm to ride alone. Kids of all ages can participate if accompanied by an adult.
- High Point Adventure
- Height restriction: over 50” / 127 cm. For safety reasons, children must be 6 years or older. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- Closed shoe required
- Maximum weight: 120 Kg / 265 lbs
- Challenge of the Mad Mage:
- Height restriction: over 42” / 110 cm. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Kids over 12 years of age can visit on their own.
